Hotel Terms and Conditions
Introduction
These Conditions apply to all guests of the Hotel.
Bedroom Bookings
- Tariffs – All room tariffs are per night for double occupancy and include a Full Breakfast (unless otherwise specified in your confirmation). VAT is also included. Your room will normally be available from 4pm on the day of arrival and we would kindly ask that it is vacated by 11am on the day of departure.
- Deposit – Card details are taken to guarantee the booking, full prepayment can be taken up to 14 days prior to arrival. Payment taken at the time of booking if within 14 days of arrival date.
- Children – £25 per child, per night (depending on age) when sharing parent's room (B&B). Children's menu available.
- Dogs – £20 dog charge. We have two dog-friendly rooms, which must be pre-booked directly with us in advance. Max of two SMALL dogs per room, or one MEDIUM dog.
- Availability – Rooms are subject to availability.
- Right of Refusal – The Hotel reserves the right to refuse any booking for any good reason.
Check-in & Check-out Times
- Guests may check-in at any time from 4pm on day of arrival.
- On departure, guests must vacate their rooms and check-out by no later than 11am.
- Failure to check-out before 11am will entitle the Hotel to charge a supplement.
Payment
- Deposit – Card details are taken to guarantee the booking, full prepayment can be taken 14 days prior to arrival. Payment taken at the time of booking if within 14 days of arrival date.
- Guests must pay all outstanding charges on departure.
- Guests are liable for any damage they cause to the Hotel property.
Cancellations
- Bedroom bookings – 7 days notice required otherwise full payment is retained, unless the room is re-let (in which case a refund will be given less an administration fee). Any payments due will be taken from the credit card details given at the time of booking. Any cancellations or amendments must be in writing. We strongly advise you to take out appropriate travel/cancellation insurance.
- Group bookings (3 or more rooms) – 6 week cancellation required otherwise full payment is charged if rooms are not re-let. Refunds are subject to an administration fee.
- Apartment bookings – 21 days notice required otherwise full payment is retained if the room is not re-let. Refunds are subject to an administration fee. Any payments due will be taken from the credit card details given at the time of booking. Any cancellations or amendments must be in writing. We strongly advise you to take out appropriate travel/cancellation insurance.
- Special Dates – For Christmas, New Year's Eve & Easter, a 6-week cancellation policy applies.
Restaurant
Please note that we don't hold tables for residents and strongly advise that you book in advance. The restaurant is closed for lunch and dinner on Wednesdays.
Right of Refusal
The Hotel reserves the right to refuse a guest entry and accommodation if, on arrival, management reasonably considers that the guest is under the influence of drink or drugs, is unsuitably dressed or is behaving in a threatening, abusive, or otherwise unacceptable manner.
Disturbance
The Hotel reserves the right to require a guest to leave if he/she is causing a disturbance, annoying other guests or Hotel staff or is behaving in an unacceptable manner.
Hotel Rules
Guests shall comply with all reasonable rules and procedures in effect at the Hotel, including but not limited to health and safety and security procedures and statutory requirements as to registration.
Losses, Liabilities etc.
- Guests must report any loss of or damage to their property immediately on discovery to the Hotel and shall make themselves available to assist with any reports made by the Hotel to the police.
- The Hotel shall not be liable to a guest for any loss or damage to property caused by the misconduct or negligence of a guest or an Act of God, or where the guest remains in exclusive charge of the property concerned.
- The Hotel shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations if the cause is beyond its reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, utility failures, etc.).
- The Hotel reserves the right to relocate any Booking to another hotel of similar size and standard if necessary. The Hotel accepts no liability for any loss or damage suffered by the Client in consequence of relocation.
- Guests will be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury they may cause at the Hotel.
- These Conditions shall be governed by English law.
Damage to Hotel Property
- We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage caused by deliberate, negligent, or reckless acts.
- Should damage come to light after departure, we reserve the right to charge the guest's card or send an invoice.
- We will make every effort to keep repair costs to a minimum.
Removal of Hotel Property
- We reserve the right to charge guests the full replacement cost (including carriage) for any items removed from the premises without consent.
- Charges may be applied to the guest's card after departure.
Tampering with Fire Systems
- We reserve the right to take action against any guest found to have tampered with fire detection or firefighting equipment (detectors, break glass points, extinguishers).
- Guests will be charged for all costs incurred and may be asked to leave the hotel. The Police may be involved at the hotel's discretion.
- Charges for tampering may be applied to the guest's card after departure.
