We have retired our dining room to focus exclusively on being Beaminster’s premier boutique bar. While we no longer serve hot dishes, we offer a highly curated menu of artisanal bar snacks—featuring Capreolus charcuterie, Ford Farm cheeses, and house-infused nuts—designed to perfectly complement your drinks.
What is the difference between the Main Bar and The Snug?
The Main Bar is our energetic, volume-driven space offering flawless local draughts and fast, precision-batched cocktails. The Snug is an intimate, lounge-style experience focusing on premium rituals, featuring silver-tray service, specialized glassware, and high-end spirits.
Do I need to book a table?
Walk-ins are always welcome in our Main Bar. However, if you are looking to experience the elevated table service and refined atmosphere of The Snug & Lounge, we highly recommend booking ahead, especially on weekends.
What makes your cocktail menu different?
We bring a 'kitchen-led' philosophy to our drinks. By utilizing advanced pre-batching techniques and locally sourced West Dorset botanicals, we deliver complex, sophisticated cocktails—like our signature Dorset Negroni—with absolute consistency and zero wait time.
What kind of events do you host?
We design our events for a refined crowd. Expect low-fi, late-night vinyl sessions on the weekends for a 'Soho House' vibe, alongside mid-week Cocktail Masterclasses and exclusive month-long spirit residencies featuring top local makers like Conker and Dorset Dry.
